Category: Industry News

Release time: 2026-05-28

Overview: Daily maintenance: including road surface cleaning, dredging of drainage facilities, maintenance of curbstones and markings

Daily maintenance: including road surface cleaning, dredging of drainage facilities, maintenance of curbstones and markings, immediate repair of minor cracks/potholes, greening and maintenance of ancillary facilities, emphasizing "timely detection and rapid disposal".

Preventive maintenance: implemented when the road surface condition is good, such as micro surface, slurry seal, ultra-thin cover, crushed stone seal or mist seal, for waterproofing, anti-skid, anti-aging, and extending service life.

Repair and maintenance: For existing cracks, potholes, ruts, subsidence, looseness, mud pumping, and board corner fractures, methods such as grouting/patching, cold/hot patching of potholes, in-situ hot/cold regeneration, milling and repaving, grouting at the bottom of the board, and local replacement of the board shall be adopted, in accordance with the "Specification for Maintenance of Asphalt Pavement on Highways" (JTG 5421) or the "Specification for Maintenance of Cement Concrete Pavement on Highways" (JTJ 073.1).

Special maintenance: Concentrate on rectifying structural problems or improving functions, such as adding asphalt overlay, full depth regeneration, adding asphalt layer to cement pavement (composite), base reinforcement, drainage system renovation, etc.

Emergency maintenance: In response to sudden damages such as water damage, landslides, and severe potholes, temporary measures such as emergency access, quick repairs (such as quick hardening cement concrete, cold mix materials), or temporary traffic control measures should be taken, with priority given to ensuring access before restoration.
